Mattias Ljungman biography

Mattias is a partner at Atomico with a key responsibility for servicing Atomico's day-to-day operations and contributing to building the investment portfolio for the group. Mattias also represents Atomico on the Boards of various investee companies. He has worked with early stage investments since 2000, including the early social networking site Lunarstorm, IPTV set-top box provider Amino Technologies (listed AiM) and the TV shopping channel Sit-Up TV (bought in 2005 by Telewest).

Prior to Atomico, Mattias headed up the investment team at CLS Capital Partners, and has worked for strategy consultancy LEK Consulting and for fund management company Valu-Trac.

Mattias also sits on the Board of Seedcamp, an initiative set up in 2007 to provide seed funding and help build the European entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Mattias has a Masters from the Stockholm School of Economics and a BA from McGill University.
